I decided to go with a polka-dotted theme, using mostly black and white, but throwing in some green, blue, purple, and probably the other colors as well. So here is a little bit of what I have worked on so far:
Some letters to use on my word/vocabulary wall
Close-up on my clip chart, so you can see the tiny polka-dots on each color!
The header for my "Cranium Club" display - more on this in a later post!! :)
Some fun things I picked up at Michael's, Hobby Lobby, and Target!
Unfortunately I can't share any actual classroom photos, because I haven't been able to move into my new classroom yet!! I can show you this though:
The current location of my classroom materials!! (And that's only half the closet - the other side is just as packed!)
Now it's YOUR turn!! Share your classroom theme and some of your creations/decor for the upcoming year!
I love all the polka-dotty goodness. :) I'd love to share all my star stuff, but I guess I will have to wait until I get back in my room.
ReplyDeleteEverything looks fantastic Stephanie! I love that you have put your clip chart on ribbon, that looks so nice. I need to get mine all finished:)Thank you so much for linking up, I am now following you:)

If I hadn't invested so much time, energy, and money in my safari theme, I'd be jumping on the polka dot theme because I LOVE IT! Cute stuff here!!!!

I love your word wall! What are you planning on using the little boxes from Target for? I saw those, LOVED the glitter but had no idea what I would use them for so left them. I have kicked myself many times over for that but alas I just didn't know!

I love it! Using black and white polka dots with a spray of colors is going to look great! I loved the theme I used last year which was "Fourth Grade Rocks" and we had a Rock Star theme. I am thinking of keeping that same theme this year, but modifying somewhat.
ReplyDeleteAll of your stuff looks too stinkin' cute. So glad I ran across you- I am a dual language teacher and love finding other bloggers working in the bilingual realm. Looking forward to sharing ideas!

Your theme looks so cute - I am a huge fan of black & white (especially polka dots) and adding in accent colors in accessories, trip, whatever!
